Social media enthusiasts / evangelists interested in mentoring?

Thanks to PodCamp Topeka, I came away with a lot of ideas for how social media might enhance the lives of my residents at a project section-8 housing unit I work at in North Hyde Park (Midtown KCMO). I learned a lot during that unconference but I am no expert.

What I have is:
(1) a group of 150 residents mostly 18-21 year old African Americans, a mix of dropouts, high school grads, GEDs, trade school and college students -- their social networking of choice is Facebook and some also tweet.
