I'm a Process Analyst for EQ by day, and the Editor-in-Chief of GamingAngels.com in my free-time (though it's like a full-time job). I'm also a knitting instructor in KC as part of the Church of Craft. Basically, if it's about social media, gaming, reading, writing, crafting or general geekery, I'm there.

Hi I am Shawn. I heard about this group through the Adobe Users here in KC. I figured I would give this group a shot and try to get involved. Graduated from JCCC 2 years ago with a degree in Interactive Media. I am a web designer/developer who is currently unemployed. Hoping to land something in web design or maybe something similar that uses the skills I have already learned. Other then looking for a job and networking, I have been developing my personal website and some other personal projects. I started social media as a hobby, then got further into it when I started volunteering for Naka-Kon, Kansas City's anime convention. I run that twitter (@nakakon) and all of our other SM outreach, including helping to moderate our semi-huge forums. I'm also starting to dabble in podcasts.

This summer I'm interning with Nicholson Kovac's PR department, and will return to KU for my last two semesters as a journalism major (emphasis in strategic communications) this fall.
