After a couple days voting the SMCKC Board is proud to announce that Steven Chau has been named the new Awareness Chairperson.
Congrats to Steven and thanks to Brenda and Lauren for your interest in being part of the board. We look forward to you all helping SMCKC grow and become the awesome organization in can be.

Whitney Mathews recently let the board know that due to some big projects she is a part of she was stepping down as the Awareness Chairperson for the SMCKC.
So what we the committee decided was the best way to find a replacement was to get a list of interested people for the spot over the next few days and then have a quick 2 day vote next Monday and Tuesday.

First I wanted to thank everyone who came to the meetup this morning....and boy was it early! :) We had a great time just talking and discussing a little about future events.
One thing we talked about was at some events having people on panels of 4 or so to talk about maybe a project they are working on or how they use social media in the work/home life or whatever might be a topic to be covered.

We decided at this mornings smckc breakfast that our little group needed to get a social networking presence and what better way then use ning with all its great features!
