Solis is Principal of FutureWorks, an award-winning PR and New Media agency in Silicon Valley. He blogs at PR2.0, bub.blicio.us, and regularly contributes marketing & tech insight to industry publications. He's a published author including his most recent book, “Putting the Public Back in Public Relations: How Social Media is Reinventing the Aging Business of PR,” which will be available for purchase at the event.

I heard that too, and that's why PRSA agreed to bring him to KC. But, as mentioned in the post, we really need to get behind this event and make it a success. It's really not a lot of money, but if we can get 250 people to show up, well, that would be huge.

Looking forward to seeing Brian in KC! I got to see him on a panel at SXSW and loved his integrated marketing and pr mantra. And on top of what he brings to the podium (which always rawks), the dude is fun to hang out with as well!
